Jarl Salomein (born January 27, 1989 in Ghent ) is a Belgian road cyclist.

Career

Jarl Salomein won the Belgian one-day race Herman Vanspringels Diamond in 2005. In the 2007 season he was successful in one stage of the Route de l'Avenir and the Ronde Vlaamse Ardennen. He also became Belgian runner-up in the junior class road race. In 2010 he and his Beveren team won a stage in the Ronde de l'Oise in 2000 and he won the U23 event of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad . From 2011 Salomein will compete for the Belgian professional Continental Team Topsport Vlaanderen-Mercator .

Jarl Salomein is the son of Patrick Salomein , who was a professional at Zoppas-Splendor-Sinalco in 1976 . He is also the nephew of Norbert Dedeckere , who became the amateurs' cyclocross world champion in 1972.
