Jarmo Rissanen

Jarmo "Jarkki" Rissanen (born July 6, 1979 in Kuopio ) is a former Finnish road cyclist and cross-country skier who is now an active triathlete .

Career

In 2009 Jarmo Rissanen became Finnish champion in the individual time trial . Between 2005 and 2013 he was also runner-up in this discipline five times and took third place twice.

Since 2003 Rissanen has also been active as a cross-country skier and regularly competes in Finnish championships. In 2015 he finished tenth over 30 km.

In June 2018 he won the Alpsman Extreme Triathlon in France with a new course record .
