Alpsman Extreme Triathlon
The Alpsman Extreme Triathlon is a long-distance triathlon sport event on Lac d'Annecy in the French Alps. The venue is Saint-Jorioz . The competition has been held annually in June since 2016.

The organizers offer four competitions over a weekend in June. A race over the Ironman distance, as well as a medium, short and children's distance.
In 2016 Almuth Grüber won the competition in 13:56:49 h and in 2017 Verena Eisenbarth in 13:27:32 h from Germany. In 2019 there were 377 finishers on the long distance. The Finnish Jarmo Rissanen holds the men's course record with 11:39:42 h. The women's record is held by Juliette Bendedicto from France with 1:16:09 h.
Route
- The swimming distance starts near the village of Saint-Jorioz in the middle of the lake. The swimmers are brought there by boat. You can swim along the coast to Saint-Jorioz / Esplanade du Lac. There is the exit and the transition area.
- The bike distance of 180 km leads through the Massif des Bauges nature park . Among other things, the Semnoz , Col de Plainpalais, Col de Leschaux and Col des Prés are used. The route has 4300 hm.
- The final marathon runs through the surrounding area. At the turning point at km 24.6, the runners will be divided up from 5:30 p.m. Those who arrive early can run to the top of the Semnoz and finish there. This route has 1300 m. Everyone else does another lap and finish in Saint-Jorioz.
