Almuth Grüber (born May 3, 1981 in Heidelberg ) is a German triathlete . It mainly starts on the medium and long distance.

Career

In Gérardmer, 23-year-old Almuth Grüber started in June 2004 at Ironman France for the first time over the long distance triathlon (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running) and she was able to occupy fifth place. In 2008 she won the Cologne 226 long distance in Cologne and the Vienna City Triathlon in Vienna .

In June 2011 Almuth Grüber came second in the German Police Championship (DPM) on the short triathlon distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running). In September she also became German runner-up in the long-distance triathlon in Cologne.

The police officer won the Bienwald Marathon in March 2014 and in August she won the Ostseeman long distance triathlon for the second time after 2012 .

In 2016 she finished second at her fourth start in Glücksburg . It has not appeared internationally since 2016.

Almuth Grüber now lives with her daughter in Schriesheim near Heidelberg.
