Tina Tremmel (born January 9, 1981 in Marburg ) is a former German athlete and triathlete .

Career

She became German youth champion in cross-country as well as over 3000 and 5000 m. In the junior division, she won national titles in the 10 km road run and the 3000 meter obstacle course and took part in the 1999 European Cross Junior Championships.

In 2001 and 2002 Tremmel won the German University Championship in cross-country running. In 2004 she became German runner-up over 3000 m obstacle. In 2006, 2007 and 2009 she was able to win the Heidelberg Half Marathon , where she set the course record in 1:22:29 h in her last victory. In the same year she also won the half marathon as part of the Allgäu Panorama Marathon with a course record of 1:21:37 hours.

Tremmel was able to win a triathlon with the HeidelbergMan in 2008, she prevailed in 2:22:29 h ahead of Katja Schumacher and thus also won the triathlon championships in Baden-Württemberg. At HeidelbergMan 2010, swimming was canceled shortly before the start due to the strong current of the Neckar and the competition was held as a duathlon. Tina Tremmel came second behind Jenny Schulz . Tremmel started for TV Eckmannshausen and MTG Mannheim . It has not appeared internationally since 2010.

She lives in Heidelberg and works as a doctor.
