Jasmine Leata Liu (born September 2, 2002 in Vaitogi ) is an American-Samoan beach handball player .

Jasmine Liu starts for the CaBoom Athletic Club of Ili'ili . The defensive winger belongs to the founding generation of handball, especially beach handball, in American Samoa. She was part of the squad of her association that won the title at the U-17 Oceania Beach Handball Championships against the favored Australian team and thus qualified for the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games . Also in Buenos Aires , Liu was the youngest player on her team in the squad, which finished eleventh.

The following year, Liu was part of the American Samoas senior team. At the continental championships of Oceania 2019 and the parallel Australian championships, in which the team from American Samoa competed as a club team, the team won the silver medals in both competitions. In the context of the continental championships, the team from American Samoa only had to admit defeat to Australia and won not only against the representation of the Cook Islands , but also the team from New Zealand .
