Jason Richards

Jason Richards is a retired Canadian football player. He played five seasons on the position of defensive tackles with the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Career

Richards played college football at the University of Toledo for the Toledo Rockets from 1994 to 1997 . In his third year he was elected to the second team All- MAC , in his last season even to the first team . In his senior year he was team captain. In February 1999, Richards received a two-year contract from the Montreal Alouettes to play in the CFL. During the 2000 season, he was placed on the Injured Reserve List . On November 28, 2000, he received a new two-year contract from the Alouettes. On June 13, 2003, Richards was released.
