Java medal

The Java Medal (Java Campaign Medal ) was donated as an award for the campaigns from 1825 to 1830. The founder was Wilhelm I , King of the Netherlands. The date of foundation was June 27, 1831.

Order decoration

The medal was made of bronze and was octagonal in shape. On the front was the picture of the founder with the inscription "Wilhelm I. Konig der Nederlande". The reverse had the inscription "Orlog of Java 1825 1830" within an oak and laurel wreath.

Ribbon

The ribbon was colored orange.
