Javed Iqbal (badminton)

Javed Iqbal (* around 1950) is a Pakistani badminton player .

Career

Javed Iqbal won his first national singles title in 1971. In 1983 and 1984 he defended the title. Four more individual titles followed by 1979. In 1970 he started at the Commonwealth Games. In 1974 he was fifth in doubles and ninth in singles at the Asian Games. In 1979 he took part in the badminton world championships of the smaller world association WBF. There he won bronze with the Pakistani men's team.
