Antiesenradweg

The Antiesenradweg (R23) begins on the Inn cycle path near Reichersberg and is 40 km long. It leads past Antiesenhofen along the right bank of the Antiesen . Then go through Aurolzmünster directly to Ried im Innkreis . There the route continues to Haag am Hausruck to Geboltskirchen to the Trattnachtal cycle path (R17).

The Antiesenradweg leads through the middle of the slightly hilly Innviertel and runs partly on paved side roads and paved bike paths . Since differences in altitude are hardly noticeable, the Antiesenradweg is very family-friendly.

Route and sights

The route leads from Minaberg near the Reichersberg Abbey via Münsteuer. From there it rolled straight into the valley of Antiesen in after Ort im Innkreis . A healing spring rises at the Bründl Chapel in Ort . Under the Innkreis motorway , the route continues to St. Martin to the castle and on to Utzenaich . From there the route goes past several Marterln and chapels to the moated Aurolzmünster Castle . Along the Ried Forest, the cycle path leads directly into the historic old town of Ried im Innkreis .

From there it goes on to Haag am Hausruck . There you have the opportunity to try the summer toboggan run or the forest high rope park on the Luisenhöhe . If you drive further, you come to Geboltskirchen via Bergham . In Geboltskirchen there is the historic Scheiben station with its draisine train , where coal was still mined until 1964 . A hand-operated draisine (rail bike) can be used to drive through the mountain tunnel .
