Javier Nart

Javier Nart (born August 19, 1947 in Laredo ) is a Spanish politician of the Ciudadanos-Partido de la Ciudadania party . He has been a member of the European Parliament since 2014 . There he is Deputy Chairman of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly and a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Subcommittee on Security and Defense.

Nart submitted his resignation as a member of Ciudadanos' board of directors on June 24, 2019, following a vote in which the board again vetoed an act with the PSOE .
