Jean-Claude Asselborn

The Luxembourg writer and literary critic Jean-Claude Asselborn (born November 27, 1954 ), known under the pseudonym Jean Sorrente, is the author of several novels and reviews. At first he also worked under the pseudonyms Alphonse Maintes, C. Malans or Claude Méréan. He writes his works in French and teaches French at the Luxembourg high school Athénée de Luxembourg .

Honors and memberships

In 1993 he received the Prix ​​Tony Bourg for Nuits , in 1998 for Le Vol de l'aube and the Prix ​​de la Libre Académie de Belgique for his complete works and in 2003 the Prix ​​Servais for Et donc tout un roman . In addition, Asselborn has been a member of the “Libre Académie de Belgique” since 1998.
