Jean-Claude Servais
Jean-Claude Servais (born September 22, 1956 in Liège ) is a Belgian comic artist . He is known by the pseudonym Jicé .
During his studies at the Institut Saint-Luc in Liège from 1974–76 , he drew his first comics for the comic magazine Spirou . From 1980 individual albums with historical themes followed. With the copywriter Gérard Dewamme he created the graphic novel Tendre Violette for the magazine (à suivre) , followed by the trilogy Les Saisons de la vie for the publisher Le Lombard .
From 1994 he created the 7-part series La Mémoire des arbres for the Dupuis publishing house .
