Jean-François de Macheco de Prémeaux (* 1692 in Dijon , † April 29, 1752 in Couserans ) was Bishop of Couserans.

Jean-François de Macheco de Prémeaux was the older brother of Bishop Jean-Chrétien de Macheco de Prémeaux (1697–1771) of Périgueux . He was a doctor of theology, Commendatore of Saint-Paul-de-Narbonne and Vicar General of the Archbishop of Narbonne. In 1715 he took part in the National Assembly of the French clergy in Paris as a deputy of the Archdiocese of Narbonne .

He was a general agent of the clergy and was nominated Bishop of Couserans in 1726. He received his episcopal ordination on January 12, 1727. He completed the work on the bishop's palace and had a new stable and an orangery (later called the “gardener's house”) built. Also, during his episcopate, a new sacristy was built between the chapter house and Notre-Dame-de-la-Sède.
