Jean-Guillaume Fyard de Gevigney et de Mercey (* 15. February 1785 in Vesoul , France ; † 30th January 1824 in Paris , France) was a French officer of the guard of the king and knight of the Legion of Honor and the Ordre royal et militaire de Saint -Louis .

Life

Jean-Guillaume Fyard was the son of Jean-François Fyard de Gevigney et de Mercey, an artillery commander, and Marie-Charlotte Charles de Levrecey. He was married to Marie-Françoise Raillard de Granvelle, daughter of Benoît-Georges Raillard de Granvelle, requete master and knight of the Legion of Honor, and Marie-Eugenie de Valicourt.

Their daughter Eugénie-Marie Fyard de Gevigney et de Mercey was the mother of Paul-Félix Beuvain de Beauséjour .

Jean-Guillaume Fyard was battalion commander of the 5th Infantry Regiment .
