Jean-Jacob Bicep (born June 23, 1965 in Sainte-Anne on Guadeloupe ) is a French politician of the EELV .

Bicep attended the University of Paris VIII . There he first graduated in the humanities with a specialization in geography and later the Maîtrise degree in geography with a specialization in spatial planning. In 2007 he obtained a master's degree in geopolitics and territorial rivalries at the Institut Français de Géopolitique . At RATP he worked as a commercial employee, team leader, operations manager and special representative for spatial development. He was also a dismissal protection advisor at the Department of Labor and at the CFDT, the railway workers' union, secretary and member of the board of the Union départementale.

Bicep was secretary of the local group in the 20th arrondissement of Paris for the green party Les Verts , which later became part of the EELV . There he was also responsible as an alderman in the local council for the road and path network, traffic and transport. On May 16, 2012, he moved up as a member of the European Parliament .

Bicep is a member of the Group of the Greens / European Free Alliance and a member of the Committee on Regional Development and of the delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly .
