Paul Ermine

Paul Hermelin (born April 30, 1952 in Etterbeek , Belgium ) is a French manager with Belgian roots.

Life

Ermine, who grew up in the Nonclar district of Avignon , worked in the Ministry of Economic Affairs under Jacques Delors . After studying at the École polytechnique (graduation 1972) and the ENA (graduation 1978), he worked from 1988 to 1991 in the Ministry of Research under Hubert Curien . From 1991 to 1993 he was Chief of Staff in Dominique Strauss-Kahn's Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade . In May 1993 he moved to the French company Capgemini and, as the newly appointed head of the French business, was promoted to its board of directors in May 1996. After the merger with Ernst & Young that he suggested , he became Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the group in May 2000, which he has headed as its CEO since May 2012 .
