Jean-Louis Heinrich

Jean-Louis Heinrich (born May 22, 1943 in Ars an der Mosel , today Ars-sur-Moselle , Department Moselle , † September 14, 2012 in Cavaillon ) was a French football player .

Jean-Louis Heinrich, who was born during the occupation of Lorraine by National Socialist troops , began his career at FC Metz . The former goalkeeper made his professional debut at the age of just 16 when he was used on February 7, 1960 in a second division game against Beziers. At first Heinrich was only a substitute goalkeeper; In the following years he came to a total of eleven missions, seven of them in Division 1 (now Ligue 1 ). The 1963/64 season was groundbreaking for Heinrich's career, whether the fact that he made his breakthrough this season. In Division 2 (today Ligue 2 ) Heinrich played 31 games. In the next two seasons he played 52 times across all seasons. The then first division club AS Monaco secured the services of the native of Lorraine in 1966. With the Monegas it only lasted three years before he returned to FC Metz in 1969; meanwhile they also played in Division 1. In Lorraine, however, he was no longer used.
