Jean-Marc Roirant (* 1952) is a French politician and functionary.

From 1993 to 2016 he was general secretary of the League for Education ( French : Ligue de l'enseignement ). Prior to that, from 1983 to 1993, he headed the Association of the Charente-Maritime Department and from 1998 as President of the League in Paris . From 2004 to 2015 he was a member of the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE).

From 2006 to 2013 he was a member of the EESC Contact Group of Civil Society Organizations and Networks, which was set up in 2004 to provide a framework for political dialogue and cooperation between the EESC and the European organizations and networks with which the group has relations. Since September 21, 2015 he is member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and a member of the group III diversity Europe ( diversity Europe ) at the EESC.

He was also Chairman of the European Platform Education and Lifelong Learning ( Engl. : European Civil Society Platform on Lifelong Learning , EUCIS-LLL; double. : Education et formation tout au long de la vie ), now vice president. He is President of the European Civic Forum (FCE) and Civil Society Europe and more.
