Helmut Vogt (educational scientist)

Helmut Vogt (* 1949) is a German educationalist and from April 1, 1983 to March 31, 2016 was the head of the Office for Scientific Further Education (AWW) at the University of Hamburg .

Live and act

From 1970 to 1976 Vogt studied education , psychology , sociology and political science at the Free University of Berlin .

• Member of the working group "Scientific Further Education" of the Innovation Group Further Education at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) (2006–2008)
• Member of the administrative board of the German Institute for Adult Education (DIE), Leibniz Center for Lifelong Learning (2004–2011)
• Vice President of the European Civil Society Platform on Lifelong Learning (2012–2015)
• Member of the board of the European University Continuing Education Network (EUCEN) (since 2015)
• EU expert in the Tempus project SSRULLI - Strengthening the Specific Role of Universities as LLL Institutions (since 2014)
