Jean-Michel Ducancelle (born December 25, 1960 in Guadeloupe ) is a French designer and architect . He designs floating houses ( Anthénéa ), yachts , pontoons and interior design.

To do this, he developed a lightweight concrete . This light concrete consists of very fine sand, special cement, synthetic fibers and pigments that are used to color the concrete according to the design. The low density and the high strength based on the embedded fibers allow panels with a thickness of only 4 mm. The concrete can be used for furniture, for interior decoration of rooms and for decoration.

Together with Pierre Cardin , for whom he designed a residence, he sells the Anthénéas.

Ducancelle lives in France in Avrillé .
