Jean-Paul Gonseth (* 1921 ; † 1999 ) was an FMH specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy .

He was a pioneer in German-speaking countries in therapy with dolls as a medium. He taught his method , figurative psychodrama, at his Institute for Psychodrama and Figuration in Liestal , Switzerland.

Jean-Paul Gonseth, son of the mathematician and philosopher Ferdinand Gonseth , spoke of an indoor stage and an outdoor stage that is organized as a revolving stage. This means that inner figures (different parts of a person's personality) can interact on a stage.
