methodology

Methodology (from the Greek μεϑοδική (τέχνη) methodikḗ (téchnē)  "art of planned procedure") is in the philosophy of science the totality of all scientific "ways" to a goal, ie the science of the procedure of a science. As a sub-discipline of a science, methodology is also the teaching of the teaching and teaching methods used in this science.

In general, the term methodology describes the specified type of procedure.
