Since the 2006/07 season , Jeanette Blömen played in the women's Bundesliga as a defender at FFC Brauweiler Pulheim 2000 . In the 2009/10 season she played for 1. FC Köln in the women's second division.
In 2010 she ended her football career. Since then she has dedicated herself to running. With 6th place in the EVL half marathon in Leverkusen in a time of 1:36:34 h, she showed her promising potential for the first time.
