Jed York
John Edward "Jed" York (born around 1980 in Youngstown , Ohio ) is an American entrepreneur and co-owner of the NFL team San Francisco 49ers .
Life
York attended St. Charles Elementary School and Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown . He then studied at the University of Notre Dame , which he successfully graduated with a Bachelor of History and Finance.
York then worked as an analyst at Guggenheim Partners in their New York City office . When he finished that job, his parents, who owned the San Francisco 49ers at the time, offered him to work as director of strategic planning on the football team. Since December 28, 2008, York has been President of the San Francisco 49ers.
