Career

Monschein began his career at SC Brunn am Gebirge . In 2014 he moved to ASK Ebreichsdorf . In January 2016 he moved to the professional club FC Admira Wacker Mödling . He made his Bundesliga debut on matchday 21 of the 2015/16 season against FC Red Bull Salzburg when he was substituted on in the closing stages.

For the 2017/18 season, he moved to league competitor FK Austria Wien , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2021.

National team

In August 2020 Monschein was appointed to the squad of the Austrian national team for the first time .
