Benedikt Pichler (born July 20, 1997 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Pichler began his career at USK Gneiss . In 2010 he joined the youth team at USK Anif . For the 2014/15 season he moved to the amateurs of SV Grödig . He made his debut in the Salzburg league in August 2014 when he came on as a substitute for Marinko Sorda in the 58th minute against USK Anif on the first day of the season. In the same month he scored his first goal in the fourth-highest division in a 4-2 win against the Salzburg AK 1914 .

In July 2016 he made his debut for Grödig's first team in the regional league when he came on as a substitute for Julian Feiser on matchday one of the 2016/17 season against FC Kufstein in the half-time break. Pichler scored his first goal in the Regionalliga in September 2016 in a 2-0 win against TSV St. Johann .

For the 2018/19 season he moved to the second division team SK Austria Klagenfurt. He made his debut in the second division in July 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against SC Austria Lustenau on the first day of that season .

For the 2019/20 season he moved to the Bundesliga club FK Austria Wien , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2023.
