Live and act

Jens-Holger Schneider visited the POS and EOS in Wismar until 1989 and then worked as a judicial clerk at the Wismar District Court until 1991 . Studied lawyers at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Justice in Hildesheim and Güstrow (1991–1995), studied political science and history at the University of Rostock (1995–2000), and trained as an IT systems clerk (2005–2008) he finished without a degree. From 2016 to 2017, Schneider was an electoral district employee.

Schneider was a member of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) from 1993 to 2007 and a member of the Junge Union (JU) from 1993 to 2006 . For the CDU, he was a member of the citizenship of the Hanseatic city of Wismar from 1996 to 1999. In mid-2007 he left the CDU after participating in a May rally of the National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD) that same year . Since the end of 2014 Schneider has been involved in local politics with the Alternative for Germany (AfD) and in 2015 participated as a folder in MVgida events. Schneider is assigned to the right edge of the AfD in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2016 , he was on the list of the AfD at number 18 and moved into the state parliament on December 5, 2017 as a replacement for Enrico Komning , who had given up his state mandate at the end of November 2017 for his parliamentary mandate. For the AfD parliamentary group in the state parliament, he is the spokesman for schools, religion and local politics.

At the meeting of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament on May 14, 2020, Nadine Julitz (SPD) Schneider accused Schneider of having heard the interjection, which was not recorded in the minutes, that her dress was very tight when she went to the lectern. Schneider and Thomas de Jesus Fernandes (AfD) acknowledged this with "Yes, it is." and yes!". Schneider's interjection was later defended by stating that this was just a compliment, which sparked a debate in Schwerin about when a compliment was no longer a compliment, but sexism.
