Niels Hahn (born May 24, 2001 ) is an Austrian soccer player .
Career
society
Hahn began his career at SVg Pitten . In 2014 he came to the academy of FK Austria Wien , where he went through all ages from then on. For the 2017/18 season he moved up to the squad of the second team of Austria. In the season in which Austria II rose to the 2nd division , he was not used.
Without having played for the second team beforehand, Hahn was in the first team's squad for the first time against FC Wacker Innsbruck in July 2018 , but did not play. In August 2018 he made his debut for the Young Violets, Austria's second team, in the second-highest division when he was in the starting line-up against FC Liefering on the third matchday of the 2018/19 season.
Hahn made his debut in the Austrian Bundesliga on November 11, 2018 . In the 0-2 home defeat against FC Red Bull Salzburg , he was substituted for Vesel Demaku by coach Thomas Letsch in the 74th minute of the game .
National team
Hahn played for an Austrian national youth team for the first time in October 2015. In August 2017 he made his debut against Finland for the Austrian U-17 team .
In March 2019, he made his first appearance for the U-18 team against Georgia . In the game that Austria won 3-1, he also scored the goal to make it 2-1. In September 2019 he played for the U-19 team for the first time against Latvia .
