Jeff Fowler
Jeffrey "Jeff" Fowler (born July 27, 1978 in Normal , Illinois ) is an American animator and film director.
Life
Fowler studied computer animation at the Ringling School of Art and Design in Florida and finished his studies in 2002 with the graduation film Monkey Pit . The film won a prize at the Florida Film Festival, among others. Fowler was brought to the animation studio Blur Studio by Tim Miller in his senior year. Here he worked on the computer-animated short film Rockfish and directed it for the first time: The short animation film Gopher Broke , which Fowler also animated and wrote, ended in 2004. The film about a hungry ground squirrel was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Animated Short Film in 2005.
