Jennifer Higgie

Jennifer Higgie (* 1962 ) is an Australian writer, playwright and art critic. She is co-editor of Frieze magazine , which has held the annual Frieze Art Fair in London since 2003 .

Higgie is the author of articles for the London magazine Frieze on representatives of contemporary art and has written several sections of the exhibition catalog for the Australian Pavilion at the 2005 Venice Biennale , entitled The Past Sure is Tense; the past sure is now .

Her first novel from 2006 was entitled Bedlam and was published in German by Parthas Verlag, Berlin in 2009 with the title Bedlam and other stations on a journey that a certain Richard Dadd undertook in 1842.
