Jens Allers

Jens Allers (born August 15, 1974 ) is a former German American football player.

career

Allers played for the Bahrenfeld Patriots from 1991, then switched to the Hamburg Wild Huskies . Allers was in the service of the Hamburg Blue Devils from 1998 to 2004 . In 2001, 2002 and 2003 he won the German championship with the team and in 1998 the Eurobowl . He made the leap to the NFL Europe : In the 1999 and 2000 seasons , the 1.97 meter tall Allers team member of the Frankfurt Galaxy , who was deployed in the defensive tackle position . He played a total of nine games in the NFL Europe. In 1999 he was part of the Frankfurt squad that won the World Bowl .

Allers was a German national player, at the 2001 European Championship he won the title with the selection of the American Football Association Germany (AFVD).

In 2007 he joined the second division club Hamburg Eagles .
