Jens Döring

Jens Döring (* 1978 in Dresden ) is a German musician and media artist.

Since 1991 he has been experimenting with guitars and electronic elements. He later released his first records in the electronic dance music field under the pseudonyms Shift and later E. Tonji . His pieces have appeared on the music labels Kitty Yo , Skam Records , Phantomnoise, Sozialistischer Plattenbau, Benbecula, Heimelektro Ulm , Duftplatten, Spezialmaterial, Doxa, Megahertz, Echokammer, Dhyana, Sendertechnik, Forty-Fifty, Invasion Wreck Chords and Lee.

Together with Hans Platzgumer , he founded the hp.stonji projects. This was followed by publications on special material (Baked Goods, Alphacut) and E: Gum. He also produces for various musical projects and works as an audio programmer on VST instruments (network applications, Max / MSP / Jitter). Döring also works as a radio play director and producer for Deutsche Hörbuch Verlag . As a sound artist, he creates sound installations (digital guitar, light-sensitive flooring).
