Jens Metzdorf
Jens Metzdorf (* 1966 in Neuss ) is a German archivist and historian . Since June 1st, 2002 he has been the head of the Neuss City Archives .
Career
After graduating from the Theodor-Schwann-Gymnasium in Neuss, Metzdorf studied history, English philology and journalism in Münster, London and Mainz. He obtained his doctorate in 1998. phil. and then completed a legal clerkship for the higher archive service. After a stopover at the State Archives in Leipzig , he became head of the Neuss City Archives on June 1, 2002.
