Jens Robben (born April 27, 1983 in Haselünne ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Jens Robben, midfielder, started playing football in Emsland at SV Erika Altenberge. From 1997 to 2003 he went through all NFV national teams . Major league club SV Meppen signed him in the 2003/04 season.

In the 2004/05 season he moved to the second division club Eintracht Trier and played ten league games. After the team was relegated from the second division at the end of the season, Robben played for the regional league team of Eintracht Trier for half a year.

On January 11, 2006, he signed a contract with the then regional league club Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . After he had moved more and more into the background in the team, he left the club in summer 2009.

In the following time he took part in a training camp of the Sportfreunde Siegen , but he did not accept the offer and instead switched to his old club SV Meppen on July 23, 2009. From the winter break of 2009/10, Robben played at BFC Dynamo for six months . For the 2010/11 season, the offensive midfielder moved back to SV Meppen. He won the league title of Lower Saxony with the team , rose in 2011 to the Regionalliga Nord and in 2017 to the 3rd division. At the end of the following season 2017/18 he ended his active career.
