Jens Rocksien

Jens Rocksien (born October 26, 1946 in Neustadt in Holstein ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Hamburg parliament .

Life and work

After graduating from high school, Rocksien does his military service. From 1968 to 1972 he studied educational sciences at the University of Hamburg . Since 1974 he has been employed as a teacher by the city of Hamburg. Since 1979 he took over the post of deputy headmaster and later that of headmaster.

He is married and has two children.

politics

Rocksien has been a member of the SPD since 1977. Between 1978 and 1993 he sat in the Hamburg-Rahlstedt local committee and in the meantime also in committees of the Wandsbek district assembly .

From 1993 to 2001 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament . He sat on the school committee, the constitution committee and the environment committee.
