The Jensen-Group , spelling "JENSEN-GROUP" is an international company that manufactures machines for large laundries.

history

The origins of the Jensen Group can be traced back to the establishment of a service and production company in 1937 on Bornholm , a Danish island in the Baltic Sea. In 1960 Jørn Munch Jensen (1932–2012) developed the first folding machine for large laundries and began selling the product worldwide. The Jensen portfolio was supplemented with the first feeding machine in 1973 and with the first ironer in the 1980s. In the 1990s, molded parts processing was added through the acquisition of the company Metricon Conveyor Systems. Jesper Munch Jensen expanded the Jensen Group in 1998 with the acquisition of the companies Senkingwerk GmbH, Futurail and L-Tron in order to act as a full-service provider for the large laundry industry.

The Jensen Group is divided into four worldwide business regions and two technology centers - washroom and finishing technology - organized with six production sites. The technology centers develop, produce and deliver the entire Jensen product range through the network of authorized Jensen representatives to large laundries around the world.
