Jeong Yeon-jin (* 25. March 1992 ) is a South Korean athlete, referring to the heptathlon specializes.

Athletic career

Jeong Yeon-jin competed in her first international competition at the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan , where she finished twelfth with 4892 points. In 2014 she took part in the Asian Games in her home town of Incheon for the first time and was eighth there with 4975 points. Four years later, she participated again in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where she reached ninth place this time with 5179 points. In 2019, she finished ninth at the Asian Championships in Doha with 4860 points.

In 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2018 as well as 2020 , Jeong became the South Korean heptathlon champion.
