The Tower Hotel ( Hebrew מגדל ירושלים) is a 64.79 m high hotel building in Jerusalem . As the first skyscraper in the city, it was and is formative for the cityscape of Jerusalem.

history

The building was planned in the early 1960s by the Rasco construction company, which at the time was one of the largest construction companies in the country. The architect was Ruben Tröstler . The construction company took place between 1965 and 1970. After completion, further towers were built in Jerusalem, which have shaped the skyline of the city.

building

The building is on Hillel Street in the center of Jerusalem. It has a height of 17 floors and is divided into two wings, a hotel and an office wing. An underground car park was built under the building. There is a business arcade at the south entrance. The hotel has 120 rooms and was last renovated in 2012.
