Jesús Manzano
Jesús-Maria Manzano Ruano (born May 12, 1978 in San Lorenzo , Spain ) is a former professional cyclist .
Manzano rode for the Kelme cycling team from 2000 to 2003 .
In March 2004, the Spanish newspaper As published a series of reports in which Manzano gave a detailed description of the doping practices in the Kelme team. According to Manzano, he was given EPO , cortisone , growth hormone and animal plasma during the Tour de France . In addition, the doping was professionally planned and carried out throughout the team.
In 2007, Manzano spoke up again in the wake of Team Telekom's doping affair . In an interview for Stern, he accused Rolf Aldag of not telling the full truth in his doping confession. He also accused his former teammate Alejandro Valverde of having doped.
