Jesús Ugalde , also known by the nickname Chucho , is a retired Mexican soccer player who played in midfield .

career

“Chucho” Ugalde was under contract with the CD Cruz Azul during the México 70 tournament , a special tournament of the Mexican soccer championship that was shortened due to the 1970 soccer World Cup in its own country . The Cementeros won the tournament and Ugalde was part of the Cruz Azul championship squad .

Paulino "El Cuico" Sánchez, who previously worked as an assistant coach at Cruz Azul and had taken over the post of head coach at CF Torreón for the 1970/71 season , took Ugalde with him to his new employer.

Then "Chucho" moved to city ​​rivals CF Laguna , where he was part of the regular midfield team during the 1971/72 season, along with the Argentine Alberto Rendo and the Peruvian Claudio Lostanau .

Later Ugalde was under contract with the Tiburones Rojos Veracruz for two seasons .
