Marcus Berrett (born September 23, 1975 in Halifax ) is a former Italian - English squash player .

Career

Marcus Berrett began his career in the mid-1990s, winning four titles on the PSA World Tour over the course of these . He achieved his best placement in the world rankings with rank 37 in January 1999. With the English national team , he took part in the European Championship in 1999 and won the title. At World Championships he was in the main field of the individual competition in 1998 and 1999 . He reached the round of 16 in 1999, in which he was defeated by Anthony Hill in three sets. He completed his last season on the World Tour in 2005. He subsequently took up various coaching activities, including for the Italian national team . He was also eligible to play for them from 2009 and subsequently took part with the team in the 2009 and 2011 World Championships . He was also part of the Italian squad at the European Championships five times in a row from 2010 to 2015. From 2011 to 2013 he was also Italian champion .
