Jesse Kellerman

Jesse Kellerman (born September 1, 1978 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American novelist and screenwriter.

Life

Jesse Kellerman was born in Los Angeles as the eldest son of the writer couple Jonathan and Faye Kellermann . He studied psychology at Harvard University and screenwriting at Brandeis University . He graduated with a Master of Fine Arts.

In 1994 a first work was published, a children's book called Daddy, daddy, can you touch the sky? which he wrote together with his father. He has now written several bestselling novels and scripts. He received the Princess Grace Award for his screenplay Things Beyond Our Control . Like his parents and siblings, he is an Orthodox Jew. He has been married to his wife Gabriella since June 2003 and they live in California with their son Oscar (* 2009).
