Jessica Sanders

Jessica Sanders (* 20th century ) is a film director and producer specializing in documentaries and short films .

Career

Jessica Sanders graduated from Wesleyan University . She started in the film business as a production assistant in 1999 on the documentary Bird by Bird with Anne . She made her directorial debut with the film Los Angeles , which was released in 2000. She wrote the script for this and was also responsible for the production as a producer. For her short documentary Sing! Sanders received a nomination in the Best Short Film category at the 2002 Academy Awards . In 2003 she published the 34-minute short film Twin Towers , which tells about the events of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 .

Sanders is a member of the Writers Guild of America and Directors Guild of America .
