Jevgēņijs Sapronenko (* 11. November 1978 in Riga ) is a former Latvian gymnast .

biography

Jevgēņijs Saproņenko won the silver medal in jumping at the World Gymnastics Championships in 1999 and 2001 . He was also able to secure the silver medal in jumping again at the 2004 European Championships in Ljubljana and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens . A year later he became European champion in jumping at the European Championships in Debrecen .

Saproņenko has been President of the Latvian Gymnastics Federation since the end of October 2019.
