Jewhen Budko

Jewhen Mychailowytsch Budko ( Ukrainian Євген Михайлович Будко ; born January 7, 1978 ) is a Ukrainian handball goalkeeper .

The 2.00 meter tall and 110 kilogram goalkeeper has been under contract with Medvedi Chekhov since 2008 . Before that he played for ZTR Zaporizhia . With Zaporizhia he played in the seasons 1998/1999 to 2001/2002, 2003/2004 to 2005/2006 and 2007/2008 in the EHF Champions League and in 1997/1998, 2002/2003 and 2005/2006 to 2007/2008 in the European Cup Cup winner and with Medvedi Chekhov from 2008/2009 to 2009/2010 in the EHF Champions League.

Jewhen Budko has been in goal in 65 international matches for the Ukrainian national team (as of December 2009) and is in the squad for the 2010 European Handball Championship .
