Jewish Quarterly (JQ) is a Jewish magazine founded in 1953 by Jacob Sonntag in London . It is being relocated to Taylor & Francis in Abingdon. The magazine deals with Jewish literature , politics and culture . The magazine awards the Wingate Literary Prize annually . Authors of the sheet were u. a. Amos Oz , Naomi Alderman , Howard Jacobson , Zadie Smith , David Grossman and Simon Sebag Montefiore . In 2012 she received the American University Presses' Design Award for best magazine design.

Elena Lappin was editor-in-chief from 1994 to 1997 .
