Jiří Kimla

Jiří Kimla (born May 30, 1947 in Most , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech writer.

Life

Kimla studied education, was a primary school teacher and also worked in other professions in business and administration. He has been a writer since 2000. Kimla is married and has two daughters. He lives in Ústí nad Labem .

He is a member of the North Czech Writers' Club ( Severočeský klub spisovatelů ) in Ústí nad Labem. He published his first attempts at writing in the regional press. In 2002 his debut appeared under the title Úder mimo hru , a detective novel from the boxer milieu. In 2008, Kroky do prázdna followed , a novel about the 1990s in the north of the Czech Republic.
