Jianning
Jianning ( Chinese 建宁县 , Pinyin Jiànníng Xiàn ) is a Chinese district in the prefecture -level city of Sanming in Fujian Province . It has an area of 1,705 km² and has 140,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community Suicheng (濉 城镇).
The former site of the headquarters of the First Front Army of the Chinese Red Army of Jianning (Jianning hong yi Fangmianjun lingdao jiguan jiuzhi 建宁 红 一方面 军 领导 机关 旧址) in the years 1931–1933 has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2006 ( 6-968) .
