Yong'an ( Chinese  永安 市 , Pinyin Yǒng'ān Shì ) is an independent city that belongs to the administrative area of ​​the independent city ​​of Sanming in the Chinese province of Fujian . It has an area of ​​2,941 km² and a population of 320,000. The city is located on the Sha River (沙溪), which flows into the Min River ( Min Jiang ).

The Hotel Yan Jiang International is the tallest building in the city with 26 floors and has five stars.

The Buddhist temple Yunyan Si (云岩寺) is located in the village of Xiadu (下 渡村) in the Yanxi street district, on the banks of the Sha River, which is also called "Yan Jiang" (燕 江) here for five kilometers.

Anzhenbao site ( Anzhenbao安贞 堡), a fort from the late Qing Dynasty , has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-325) since 2001 and is outside the city. The national park also begins with the Tao Yuan Cave , LinYin Stoneforest and Pinglü Mountain on the northeastern edge of Yong'an and is ideal for numerous hikes.
